As a Fellow of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and a Fellow of the National Hypnotherapy Society, I am able to display the Accredited Register quality mark, a sign that I belong to a register which meets the Professional Standards Authority's (PSA) robust standards.
The Accredited Register scheme was set up by the Department of Health to ensure that the public are able to choose safe, ethical and competent professionals for their health and social care needs.
The scheme is administered by the PSA which is an independent body, responsible for overseeing the UK's nine health and social care regulatory bodies and is accountable to Parliament.
For you, as a member of the public, the fact that I am a registrant on both the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and the Hypnotherapy Society Accredited Registers, should offer you peace of mind and enhanced protection as a client.

NB: It must be stressed that I am not personally accredited by the Professional Standards Authority; it is the register, held by each of the Societies (NCS and HS) that is accredited. Equally, no treatment or service I provide is endorsed by either the Professional Standards Authority or by the Government.
